New Blog, New Specialty

When I dropped out of college to get married, I knew even then that I wanted to be a stay at home mom. Well, that I was called to be. I love being social, so staying home is a sacrifice that I willingly make because I feel like God has called me to. I like taking pictures and capturing moments for people, but up until now I've felt like it was a hobby, even when I called it a business. But lately, I've been praying a lot about where I want that hobby of a business to go, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's birth photography. I saw a special on the news about it while I was pregnant with my boys and fell in love with it. I've researched it a lot and found a few guinea pigs. I am excited to learn more and get my name out there! I will still be available for families, etc. occasionally, too!

Welcome to the World, sweet Lillian!

Katie and Brooks welcomed their sweet new addition, Lillian Emily, Friday morning at 3:35. She wasn't scheduled to make her debut until Monday, but she had other plans. Because of the snowy roads, Katie's family was unable to make it for the delivery, so this was a much different experience for her than her previous deliveries. But the result was the same, a precious new life. Here is the story of Lillian's birth, no more words needed. Enjoy.
